About the artist

Kirsten Gray is a proud Muruwari & Yuwaalaraay woman with family connections through her mother’s line to Angledool in northwestern NSW.

Yuluwirribaa, which literally means the “place of rainbows” in the Yuwaalaraay language is the space Kirsten has created for herself as a way to express her connection to her culture and work through her time in the child welfare system. Kirsten is a passionate advocate for keeping Aboriginal children with their families.
